I'm so Square............

So I recently purchased a Square Reader from Staples.  Certainly a 'yay' for me as they were having some kind of deal and I paid $7 and some change for it.....and when you register it, Square puts $10 into your account.

So I'm going to use it a my first 'official' public craft show.....I've participated in my past job's on site holiday craft show and one a few years ago for products my hubby was selling at a sub-division craft show....but that's it.

Hubby and I set up tonight at the location for the craft show which takes place tomorrow.  I'm super excited and so lucky and blessed my hubby is helping me!  He built me this awesome wooden stand with chicken wire so I can hang some of my product from it.  I will take pictures tomorrow when we are there.

So hope the Square helps with the processing of sales.  I'm sure a lot of people bring cash and their checkbooks, but I know I'm always relieved when I'm at a craft show to find out a vendor I want to purchase from takes credit cards.  It's so much easier all around I think.

So have you used the Square?  What do you think of it?

Another Craft Show for me!

I have signed on to do another craft show!  I'm very excited to finally be branching out into this arena! This one I feel very blessed to contribute my time to as it is not only a "Holiday Bazaar" where you can get great Christmas gifts, but it is a fundraiser also.

If you are in the Boise area, please attend on Saturday, December 13th.....thanks!

Today is Halloween.......

Once again I was late putting out decorations......I got the outside of the house decorated with Halloween/Autumn items 2 weekends ago.  I love decorating the inside too, but was lazy about it.....I think I was the same way last year! grrrrr........I am disappointed in myself because I just LOVE my primitive, grubby, tattered-looking Halloween decorations!  Oh well, gives me something to look forward to for next year I guess.....They will be almost like 'new' items!  Ya know when you don't see them for a couple of years and open the storage boxes and say 'oh wow!  I forgot about this!' or 'I love this, how cool!'.........always exciting!  :)

Everyone have a wonderful Halloween!!

Have you un-boxed any old Halloween decos that you were excited at 'discovering' once more?

How about any new purchases?

I'm going to be a vendor at the Eagle Holiday Festival & Craft Market!  I am really stepping out of my comfort zone.....I mean I've always wanted to do craft shows but I FINALLY will be!

It take place on 11/22, 9-5pm at Eagle Church of the Nazarene. The church is located at:  1001 W. State St., Eagle, Idaho.

My dear hubby is going to help me set up and such.....I 'think' I can con him into working the booth with me too!  ;)  Wow!  I am totally excited!!

Hopefully people will want to buy Christmas presents!

Primitive Store High-Light

Today I found the Primitive shop Granny Jane's Attic.  Granny Jane's Attic is from Flinton, PA. her on-line shop is filled with an ideal mix of Country Rustic and Primitive Home Decor.

This is a large store with everything from burlap items to candle bulbs to enamelware to fragrant accents and so much more!

I found some not-so-common to me items such as those on her Lanterns page, burlap decor page, & decorative hardware page.

Check out some of her items below and stop by her shop!
