Sneak Peek of What I'll be Selling!

Here's just a peek of the Primitive's I'm hoping to sell once I open my selling blog "ShabbyKat Primitive's Sundries 'N Such" in 2010!

GRUBBY CANDLE JARS
My grubby candle jars can come wicked or unwicked. These are one of my favorite things to make with the prim pics and fun or meaningful sayings I find.

Below are examples of the types of warmers to use with my wickless jar candles. The ones shown below can be purchased at COURTNEYS CANDLES, EBAY, CANDLE WARMERS & a variety of other stores.

PRIM FRAMED ART WORK
Vintage pics scattered with things such as rusty pins, wire, prim buttons, music note paper, etc. Each vintage pic with have a stitched saying included with it.

PRIM CUTTING BOARDS
Painted and distressed for that loved primitive look!

POOR BOY SHOO-FLYS
These are not made the conventional way for prim shoo-flys. These have their own unique style. Each shoo-fly will come with a grungy hang tag too!

PANTRY/PRAIRIE CAKES
Loaded with spices and baked to perfection for your prim display! Will come with grubbied up cheesecloth.

PRIMITIVE CHRISTMAS GLOW JARS
These are covered with my 'secret snow' recipe and will have rusty or painted bells, and glittered lids. Each jar will include a tealight.

PRIMITIVE HANG TAGS
A variety of hang tags to choose from that will be soaked in my coffee, vanilla and spices mixture. Below are examples of ones I have done already.

PRIMITIVE SUGAR CONE
Display this on an old plate or in an old bowl. Will come wrapped in aged cheesecloth and have a grubby hang tag.

In the Early Colonies, sugar was a very valuable commodity, available to only the wealthiest families. When used, small bits of sugar would be snipped with sugar nippers, or carefully scraped from the cone by the Lady of the house. In order to make the best impression for guests, sugar cones were often brought to the table displayed on a pewter plate or on the family's best pottery.

I also will be selling candle tarts which I love to make! There will be shapes of hearts, cupcakes, prim words, muffins, etc!

These are just some of the scents I will offer for both my tarts and my candles:
Apple Jack 'N Peel
Aquolina Pink Sugar
Banana Nut Bread
Grandma's Kitchen
Monkey Farts
Nutmeg Vanilla
Orange Chiffon Cake
Peach Cobbler
Punkin' Head
SnickerDoodle
Vanilla Walnut

Other items to watch for will be primitive distressed wooden spoons, grungy battery tealights, old fashioned oatmeal soap balls, prim stitcheries, ornies and primitive almond soap bar wraps!
